MeasureDirect measurement · includes EEG-1 hardware

When you need to prove it, not estimate it.

Direct fuel measurement at the assets that matter most — the only honest basis for a year-on-year Scope 1 reduction claim. Nothing is monitored until the instrument is on the asset, so the EEG-1 hardware is part of Meter, not a separate purchase.

02

The problem it closes

Fuel inferred from a manufacturer's curve is a calculation anyone can repeat. Fuel measured at the generator is a fact only the instrument holds.

An assurance provider can accept a documented calculation. It cannot accept it as a measurement — and a reduction claim made against a calculated baseline moves with the assumption, not with the asset.

03

What it does

Direct fuel sensing

Consumption read at the generator rather than derived from run hours and a rated curve.

A defensible Scope 1 baseline

A measured starting point, with the method and measurement window recorded alongside every figure.

Selective deployment

Installed where the economics clear — the high-runtime assets, not the whole estate.

The instrument layer: EEG-1

Part of Meter — you cannot monitor an asset you have not instrumented

The gateway and metering

The EEG-1 gateway with fuel and electrical metering — the device that turns an asset into a data source.

Installed on a service visit

Fitted and commissioned during a normal service window by the technician already scheduled to be there — no separate project.

Commissioning verification

CT polarity, phase and voltage wiring are checked and recorded. An instrument whose own wiring was never checked produces confident, wrong numbers.

Feeds the layers above

The same stream answers Attest's service-verification gate and the energy health check, and carries into your reporting through the API.

Enclosed — nothing measured

  2. 2Panels off — engine, alternator, radiatorOpened up in a normal service window. No shutdown, no separate installation project.

  4. 4Clamped on — Modbus RTU, 9–36V from the assetPowered from the asset it measures. From here the fuel figure is a measurement.

Enclosed — nothing measured

  1. 1Enclosed — nothing measuredA sealed box on a DIN rail. Until it is opened and checked, nothing it says is accepted.
  2. 2Lid off — CT clamps exposedThe terminals the current transformers land on, where a reversed clamp hides.
  3. 3Wiring checked — polarity and phase recordedCT polarity, phase and voltage wiring are checked and written down, not assumed.
  4. 4Commissioned — the asset is now a data sourceOnly now is a reading accepted. An unchecked instrument produces confident, wrong numbers.

Tier 1 or Tier 2?

Tier 1 · documentary

You report from bills and records. Figures are consistent and traceable, and they are still calculations. Enough to disclose; not enough to claim a reduction against.

Served by Attest.

Tier 2 · measured

Fuel is measured at the asset. The baseline and every subsequent year rest on instrument data, so a reduction claim survives an assurance review.

Served by Meter.

04

Evidence

No case study yet

Meter is deployed selectively and has not yet run long enough at fleet scale to publish a year-on-year result. We would rather say that than show a projection.

Start with what you have to prove.

Which assets qualify depends on runtime, tariff and what you need to claim. Tell us what you have to prove and we'll tell you whether measurement is worth it.

Tell us what you run.
